My Journey

I believe that everyone has the potential to learn the cello, and I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

I've always loved learning. My passion for learning and understanding how others learn has led to my career in teaching. I have been teaching private lessons since 2016. Over the years, I have discovered teaching cello helps me understand the instrument on a deeper level. I also enjoy getting to know people and building relationships. In addition to helping students nurture a love of music, I enjoy being a reliable adult mentor in their life and supporting them while they navigate middle and high school.

Cello wasn’t easy for me, I didn’t start until I was 14 so I remember what it’s like to learn the instrument. In fact, I still take lessons because I think there is always more to learn!

I aspire to help students grow their confidence in orchestra and solo playing by teaching technique, ear training, as well as coaching strong practice habits, and acting as a supportive mentor to young cellists throughout their years of learning.
